Account Director

To serve our growing number of Mobile Advertising Clients, we are strengthening and
expanding our Berlin based Advertising Account team by adding an Account Director to the team.

Role Overview:

The Account Director will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of Account Managers and a Senior Manager to develop revenue and maximize profitability while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction. To further our international clients and the account team, another aspect is to develop key relationships, develop and deliver marketing campaigns, provide supporting business analysis and ensuring client campaigns are launched efficiently. This position reports directly to the COO.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic marketing guidance and leadership to client
  • Support business development during the initiation of client relationships as well as work to grow those relationships
  • Develop structure for new accounts
  • Interpret analysis to support marketing recommendations
  • Effectively manage a team of marketing account managers (3-5) and senior marketing professional
  • Work with business development team to develop new client sales proposals
  • Translate company objectives and strategies into action across their respective accounts
  • Provide business, financial and market analysis for management and clients

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing strongly preferred
  • Four years of digital account management experience, within an agency of direct
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client management skills, especially relating to setting and managing client expectations
  • Proven ability to generate new business & increase revenue from existing clients
  • Experience in developing, managing, and mentoring account service professionals
  • Team building and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic abilities
  • Advanced technical skills desired
