The next few months here at Sponsormob will be fairly quiet as far as external events (trade shows, exhibitions, etc.) go. Since we were recently in New York City for Affiliate Summit East and in Köln, Germany, for dmexco we don’t have any other big events planned before the end of this year.

But no worries, our break from exhibiting at trade shows won’t be all that long, and 2011 will see us out there in the public arena again. We’ll start out the year with a bang at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Affiliate Summit West, where we will host a meet market table on Sunday, January 9 2011.

Our next event will be ad:tech San Francisco from April 12-13. We enjoyed the ad:tech event in San Francisco last year, despite most of our people not being able to attend because of the volcano in Iceland that grounded hundreds of flights to and from Europe. (And yes, that was the actual reason for the absence of some of us, not a crafty excuse for missing work!). We are hoping that Mother Nature will cooperate a bit better in 2011 so that we can all get to ad:tech and make the most of it!

Of course, closer to these events we will remind everyone of where we will be and when. In the meantime, we can be found in our Berlin office. For anyone who plans ahead and would like to schedule a meeting for ether event, please contact us.

Sponsormob participated as an exhibitor at last week’s dmexco,the digital marketing conference which took place in Cologne (Köln), Germany. Six of us where there, and we enjoyed being able to travel by car and rail rather than by plane. It was certainly a nice break from our usual conference travel! The exhibition was a success, with a large number of companies and brands being represented. We managed to give away a lot of great stuff, and our Sponsormob flashlights were probably one of the event’s most popular giveaways (because everyone needs a blue Sponsormob flashlight, right?). We will be posting pictures soon on our Facebook page, so stay tuned …

This week we will be on the road again, as Sponsormob will be visiting ad:tech London. We will not be hosting a booth this time, but our Publisher Manager, Verena Witkowski, will be there both days (Tuesday and Wednesday, September 21-22). In two weeks, Sponsormob will be heading southwest to Köln (or Cologne, for those of us whose native tongue is English) to exhibit at dmexco. Dmexco is an international digital advertising event for everyone in the digital marketing and media industry. It is primarily geared toward advertisers, and It is actually Europe’s biggest digital marketing event, with approximately 300 exhibitors and around 15,000 guests. So where do we come in? Well, Sponsormob will be actually one of the exhibitors at dmexco this year. Six of us will be there, and you can find us in Hall 8 at E084.
